Well, this is my first post in my brand new blog.

 I’ve been journalling online for a few years now… maybe about 7 years on various websites here and there but I’ve decided it’s time to go out into the big wide world and blog here. 

 The main reason I blog is really cos of the way it feels – I find it really therapeutic and it feels like a proper creative outlet.  I feel as though I process a load of unexpressed stuff through these blog entries and usually have a nice sense of satisfaction at the end.  So there’s a prety big aspect of self-indulgence to it. 

 I’m not going to go into a huge deal about who I am or stuff like that, rather I’ll let all that stuff come out by itself when the time’s right – like a flower coming into bloom.  A lot of the stuff I write about relates to how we as humans can evolve and expand ourselves and the science/art around that and various observations and insights that I have as I go through life. 

 So what’s been happening recently… Just so I can get myself back into the flow here.  Really nothing hugely significant.  I am currently hugely looking forward to a trip to New York I have planned for next month, which I’ll no doubt be writing some about in here, I’ve got a proper warm feeling in my stomach about that.  I’m already visualising myself wandering around the streets wearing shorts and a fancy shirt and sunglasses with an inner smile on my face, knowing that I’ve temporarily managed to escape the humdrum of working in an office full of engineers and am finally free!  For a while… But it’s gonna be good though, while it lasts.

 I guess I should also say that a great thing about writing this blog is that it’s completely open to the public which means I can be even more authentic.  I’m one of those spiritual journey type of folk who’s always got something on the go and this, to me, feels like a step in the right direction.  It’s ok to blog on a forum where everyone knows you, but if you’re blogging on a public blog which absolutely anyone in the world could see… then you’re not going to talk shite are you?  Hence my presence here.

 Anyway, I think that’s probably as much creative blogging as my brain will allow at the moment, so thanks for reading (if there is anyone reading…) and ttfn.
